Alyssa Amori of Clarks Summit, author of “Scranton: The Electric City,” received a certificate of recognition for her book from her publisher Nicole Langan of Tribute Books in Archbald. Amori was a finalist in the 2008 National Best Book Awards in the "Photography - General" category.
