Comets advance

After suffering their only regular-season loss 1-0 to Wallenpaupack last week, the Abington Heights boys soccer team had something to prove.

It did so in its first game of the District 2 Class 2A playoffs on Friday night when it knocked out Crestwood 5-1 on a weather-rescheduled matchup at Marywood University.


The Comets will now move on to the District semifinals on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at a time and location to be determined.
