SCRANTON- Lackawanna County majority Commissioners Michael J. Washo and Corey D. O’Brien will hold a Lackawanna County Commissioners’ Hearing on the County Space Study at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 6, in the Lackawanna County Administration Building, 200 Adams Ave., sixth floor, Scranton.
Representatives from the Palumbo Group and Burkavage Design Associates, LLC will present an overview of the “Inventory and Needs Assessment Study” for Lackawanna County Facilities. The study was prepared by Palumbo and Burkavage. The public is invited to attend.
The majority Lackawanna County Commissioners instituted Commissioners’ Hearings in 2008 as a way of reviewing issues of key importance to county operations in a public format. So far this year, the Lackawanna County Commissioners have conducted hearings on county finances, the impact of the state budget impasse and on issues surrounding baseball, including the Facility Assessment Report of PNC Field. In 2008, the Commissioners held hearings on county finances and on reassessment.
