Lady Comets advance to states

After three years of falling just short of a District 2 Class AAA volleyball title the Abington Heights girls rallied on Wednesday, Nov.4 to beat the Warriors 3-1 at North Pocono High School.

Abington Heights won the first game 26-24 before losing the second 25-20. After an intense back and forth in game three the Lady Comets won 31-29. That win increased their high emotions as they won the final game 25-20.


The Lady Comets will begin state competition on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Their opponent and location of the game has not been announced.
