Those in the area should be aware of possible delays due to construction scheduled throughout the week.
Possible delays:
Interstate 81
• Exits 217-206: Southbound, Lenox Township, due to pothole patching through Thursday, April 16. There will be a right lane restriction. Delays are expected between 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Exit 217 (Harford) and the Lackawanna County line.
Interstate 84
• Exit 2: Eastbound: There will be bridge deck patching on Exit 2 Elmhurst on Wednesday and Thursday April 15 and 16, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. the right lane will be closed.
• Exits 46-34: Westbound. Bridge Deck repair at mile 39 Rattlesnake Bridge, between Exit 46 Milford and Exit 34 Lords Valley/Dingmans Ferry. There will be a single lane restriction through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Exits 53-34: Eastbound & Westbound joint repair at mile 47 between Exit 53 Matamoras and Exit 34 Lords Valley/Dingmans Ferry, with right lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Thursday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m..
• Exits 53-34: Eastbound & Westbound pothole patching Exit 53 Matamoras and Exit 34 Lords Valley/Dingmans Ferry. Right lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Thursday.
• I-84, Owego Turnpike, I-84 crossovers: Sign repairs through Thursday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
