FACTORYVILLE - The holidays are right around the corner, and Lackawanna Trail Jr./Sr. High School students, in conjunction with the Wyoming County Players, are ready to start celebrating.
The First Presbyterian Church, located at 300 School Street in Clarks Summit, will host the “Celebration of Song” portion of their annual Concert Series on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 4 p.m. It will be held in the church sanctuary. This program will feature both sacred and secular musical selections from the adult and teen vocal and bell choirs, the children’s choir and the “Music with Friends” church orchestra.
SCRANTON - According to Carla Williams, public relations and board member of the AFA (Artists for Art) Gallery, the annual AFA Auction will be held at the gallery, 514 Lackawanna Avenue, Scranton, on Saturday, Nov. 22, beginning at 6 p.m. Friends of Doug Smith will provide music, and hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be available with champagne and an open bar. The cost is $25 per person.
