America’s Funniest Moms coming to the Scranton Cultural Center

Whoever said motherhood wasn’t a laughing matter, hasn’t met the trio of women who make up the stand-up comedy show, “Mama’s Night Out.”

The trio, comprised of Karen Morgan, Nancy Witter and Sherry Davey, will be performing at the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple on Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. in Shopland Hall. The performance is one of five being presented as part of the WNEP’s Friday Forum Series.

All three women were finalists in Nick at Nite’s Search for America’s Funniest Mom, with a combined 25 years of comedy experience, they decided they all needed a Mama’s Night Out.

The performance is at 8 p.m. following a cocktail reception at 7 p.m. Tickets are $17 and can be purchased through www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 693-4100.
