Best-selling author to visit Baptist Bible College and Seminary


Best-selling fiction writer Beverly Lewis, an award-winning author of more than 80 books for children, youth, and adults, will be at Baptist Bible College & Seminary’s Campus Bookstore in Clarks Summit this fall. Promoting her new book, “The Thorn,” Lewis will be on campus Friday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. She will sign copies of her book and meet with readers.“The Thorn” goes on sale September 7 and will be available at the Campus Bookstore. For details on the event, contact the Campus Bookstore at 570.585.9251.  The Campus Bookstore is located on the BBC&S campus in Clarks Summit near the Venard Road service entrance. Parking is available next to the store.
Originally from Lancaster, Lewis grew up in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Amish community. An avid writer for most of her life, her first published works were for children’s periodicals and later her own children’s books. Her first work of adult fiction was the popular, best selling trilogy “The Heritage of Lancaster County.” Now with over 80 books including a cookbook (“Beverly Lewis Amish Heritage Cookbook”) behind her, she is setting out on a promotional tour for “The Thorn,” a new release and the first installment of the “Rose Trilogy.”
Lewis and her husband, David, make their home in Colorado, where they enjoy hiking, biking, and spending time with their three grandchildren. They are also avid musicians and self-described fiction “bookworms.”
