Fifteen films in 14 days

Foreign, independent and art films will abound at the Dietrich’s 7th Annual Fall Film Festival. Executive Director Hildy Morgan and Dietrich Theater film buyer Jeffrey Jacobs have picked 15 of the best art films out there for this 14- day festival starting on Friday, September 18 and running through Thursday, October 1. The festival will begin with the Opening Night Gala on Friday, September 18 at 6 p.m. Gala night goers will enjoy an entertaining evening of movies and hors d’oeuvres For the gala, the Dietrich will present the film Coco Before Chanel, the bio-pic of legendary fashion designer Coco Chanel, for its first local showing and the British satire In the Loop starring James Gandolfini. Gala night tickets are $40 each and can be reserved by calling the Dietrich at 570.996.1500. Reservations are required for Opening Night only. Tickets for festival movies are $7 for matinee showings (before 6 p.m.) and $8 for evening showings.
