Mostly Opera salutes ‘The Tony Awards’

Mostly Opera salutes “The Tony Awards” at a dinner-theater on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 4:30 p.m. at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel. The American Theater Wing established the Tony Awards in 1947 to celebrate excellence in theater in New York City and the first winner in 1949 was Cole Porter’s “Kiss Me Kate.” Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be offered in the main lobby of the hotel at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the show at 6 p.m. Tickets are $60 per person.
