Philharmonic performs Nov. 5

The Scranton Cultural Center will host “Tchaikovsky and Mozart,” presented by Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic on Thursday, Nov. 5 p.m. at 6 p.m. Cost is $10 for students; $18 to $55 for adults. For details, call 570.341.1568. The Philharmonic Quartet will present “Music in Our Schools” at Abington Heights High School on Nov. 5 as well. Scheduled to appear with music director Lawrence Loh for this performance are: Erica Kiesewetter, concertmaster; Katherine Hannauer, Principal Violin II; Alberto Parrini, principal Cello and Pascal Archer, principal clarinet, shown at right.
