Marian Community Hospital’s annual Charity Ball has been set for October 17, at Genetti Manor, Dickson City. The theme for this year’s affair is “An Evening in Paris.” The Ball, hosted by the Maxis Foundation Board of Trustees, is an elegant evening including fine dining and dancing to continuous music performed by The Poets and The Jeffrey James Band.

The music begins during the cocktail hour at 6:30 p.m. and keeps rolling until Midnight. Each band plays a 45 minute set alternating back and forth for an evening of non-stop entertainment and fun.
The Poets have been performing together for over 30 years. They will be performing musical selections from the 50s to today. The Jeffrey James Band will be back at the hospital’s Charity Ball for the second year in a row. This popular party band has been bringing music and excitement to stages throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland for 30 years.
The Annual Charity Ball is the major fundraising event for Marian Community Hospital and is sponsored by the Maxis Foundation. Proceeds are used to enhance healthcare services and programs for the community. Space is limited, for reservations call Sara Thomas at 281-1007 or visit www.maxisfoundation.org.
