ACL notes prevention week

The Abington Community Library, Clarks Summit, marked Fire Prevention Week with a display of new fire safety and firefighter books for youngsters. The books were purchased with a grant given in memory of Dorothy Campbell by the Joseph W. Hall Memorial Auxiliary to the Clarks Summit Fire Company No. 1, Inc. Campbell was a member of the Auxiliary and a longtime teacher in the Abington Heights School District.

Shown previewing the new books are Colleen Rose, Clarks Summit, Auxiliary member, with her sons, Andrew and John, Mary Ann McGrath, children’s librarian and Gayle Snell, Clarks Summit, Auxiliary member.
