Church of St. Benedict, Clarks Summit, was the setting July 11 for the wedding of Jennifer Cowher and Matthew Warner, both of Scranton. The bride is the daughter of Christopher and Debra Cowher, Scranton. The bridegroom is the son of James and Susan Warner, Clarks Summit.

The Rev. James McGarry officiated at the ceremony.
Lauren Voldenberg, Scranton, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristen Lombardi, Rockaway, N.J.; Elizabeth Shipley-Frederick, Mount Pleasant; Alicia Vogel, Clarks Summit; Kathleen Keenan, cousin of the bride, Vero Beach, Fla.; Lindsay Ancherani, cousin of the bridegroom; Kristen Loughne and Morgan Werner all of Scranton.
Erin Keenan, cousin of the bride, Vero Beach, was junior bridesmaid. Sydney Grippi was flower girl.
Jason Warner, Clarks Summit, was best man for his brother. Ushers were Christopher Cowher, brother of the bride, Scranton; Joe Simmons, King of Prussia; Taylor Griffiths, Virginia Beach, Va.; Dann Gwyn, Pittsburgh; Lenny Grippi, Scranton and Eric Burton and Mike Curra, both of Clarks Summit.
Justin Thomas, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception was held at Hilton Scranton and Conference Center.
The bride is a graduate of Scranton High School and earned a degree in elementary education from East Stroudsburg University. She is pursuing a master’s degree at Wilkes University and is a sixth-grade teacher and varsity cheerleading coach in the Pocono Mountain School District.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Abington Heights High School and earned a degree in elementary education from East Stroudsburg University. He is pursuing a master’s degree at Wilkes University and is a third-grade teacher and varsity track and field coach in the Abington Heights School District.
Following a wedding trip to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple resides in Scranton.
