September 11th memorial committee reviews plans

The September 11th Memorial Committee of Lackawanna County, a volunteer group, reviews plans with Lackawanna County Commissioners for the seventh anniversary of the terrorist attack on the United States. Those attacks on September 11th , 2001, killed over 3000 innocent victims including many emergency service personnel. It will include the somber bell ceremony for the fallen. The observation is set for 8:30 am on Thursday, September 11, at the memorial site in McDade Park. For information call 342-5390.
