Sky was the limit

Scranton Tomorrow hosted the annual First Night event in downtown Scranton on Dec. 31, 2008. Knowing this could be their last year as host, Scranton Tomorrow put together a night that celebrated the last 10 years of good memories.

Below, Westley Myers, 10, from Scranton, gets a digital caricature created by Angie Jordan. The digital caricatures were a part of First Night in downtown Scranton on New Year’s Eve.

At left, Catherine Julius, left and Juan Amador dance the Argentine Tango together at First Night. Julius teaches Argentine Tango in Pittston. Amador was born in Argentina and has lived in the U.S. for 34 years. He has been taking Argentine Tango lessons for about two years.
