Steamtown introduces Elementary programs

Steamtown National Historic Site announces new education programs for students in grades K-6 in the NEPA community. The programs were developed by the Park’s Education Team with the assistance from local area educators and from the Regional Education Center in Lowell, MA.

The programs were developed to meet the Park’s 5-year Comprehensive Interpretive Plan (CIP) goals in strengthening the Park’s educational programming and enhance the relationships between educators and schools. They are specifically aimed to work with educators in the Pennsylvania’s Luzerne Intermediate Unit #18 and Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit #19.
