WAVERLY -

WAVERLY - Vendors from many areas of the Pennsylvania and New York northeast region are featured every year at the Artisans’ Marketplace at the Waverly Comm. This year, it’s Deb and David Stabley’s turn to show what art they have to offer to the local community.

Deb and David Stabley, Bloomsburg, both attended Millersville University and received a graduate degree from Nebraska University. Already married, they created their own business entitled Creative Clay Works. Twenty-five years later, the Stableys have continued to make a range of art with clay work as their predominant feature.

Their business of Creative Clay Works has taken them to fairs all across the country. They have been able to display their work in craft fairs as far as in Colorado, Florida and Michigan. Their artwork has also gained a lot of gallery representation throughout the years, although according to Deb Stabley, the duo is looking forward to staying closer to home in the coming years. “Part of our strategy now is to explore more local options so
