Dear Editor,

National Hospital Week 2009, celebrated the week of May 10 to 16, is the nation’s largest annual health care event. This year’s theme is “A Healthy Commitment in Changing Times.”

At Tyler Memorial Hospital we have our “commitment” on display May 10 to 16, but the sense of dedication lasts far beyond National Hospital Week.

The people who meet the daily health care needs of this community are a committed, compassionate group of individuals united by their calling to help others. As we recognize and respond to the changing times, we want to remind you that one thing that will never change is our strong commitment to – quality, local healthcare for the people which we are privileged to serve.
