I would like to publicly thank the community and supporters of our “Blow the Whistle on Asthma” Walk on Sat. June 6 whose enthusiasm was terrific.

Thanks so much for all your support of our mission at the American Lung Association which is to prevent lung disease and promote lung health.

We had a great group of over 300 walkers and are still accepting donations toward this event.

Special thanks to seventh year Presenting Sponsor- Cross Valley Federal Credit Union and Corporate Spokesman Richard Shields, WBRE and Celebrity Spokesperson Kristi Capel, Kick Off Luncheon Sponsor Mohegan Sun, Gold Whistle sponsor Kindred Hospital Wyoming Valley, Sam’s Club as Silver Sponsor and sponsor of our delicious ice cream social after the walk, King’s College and Bernie, Bob and Mike for the use of their beautiful facility, Curtis Salonick for the professional photo’s taken of our teams, KRZ and Fishboy, Tux, Scotty, Red Robin and to each and every one of our many sponsors, walkers and supporters of this amazing event.
