This year’s “65th Annual Antique Show and Sale,” with the Waverly Community House is set to be a three- day event. Kathy Bell, Special Events Coordinator said this year’s events will be closely connected to the 65th anniversary.
Over 25 antique dealers will be represented for both sales and appraisals at the “65th Annual Antique Show and Sale,” including: Abington Clock Repairing, Age to Age, Anne’s Treasures, Auntie Pips, Bittersweet Antiques, Cider Mill Antiques, From the Attic, Glenverly Antiques, Horseshoe Barn Antiques, Julia A. Brennan Jewelry, Kimberly Shafer Antiques, Michelle Colbert Antiques, Nancy’s Antique and Estate Jewelry, Prints for the Serious Collector, Ros-Al Floral and Antiques, Shades of White, Sleepy Bear Antiques, The Pineapple House, The Silo, With Compliments and Yesterday’s, LTD.
A Preview Party will be held on Friday, September 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at $40 per person, featuring cocktails and light fare as well as entertainment. The show on Sept. 6 and 7 will feature also feature a family-style barbecue lunch served under the tent from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day and a 18th Century “Wooton Cabinet Office Secretary” lobby exhibit on loan from the Lackawanna Historical Society on display.
