Artwork donated for Helen Keller Day event

Austin Burke, President of the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, is shown presenting his artwork “Winter in Nay Aug” to Judy Pronko, Chair of the 81st Annual Helen Keller Day and a board member of the Lackawanna Branch of the Pa. Association for the Blind. Burke’s artwork will be offered as one of the raffle prizes. Seated, are: Karl Pfeiffenberger, PAB board member and the Chamber’s Project Manager, and Jean Peters, Honorary Chair of Helen Keller Day and PAB board member. Helen Keller Day will be held Sunday, April 11, at St. Mary’s Center in Scranton.Tickets are $15 each and tickets must be purchased in advance by contacting the Blind Association at 342-7613 or info@lackawannablind.org. No tickets will be sold at the door.
