NEWTON TWP. - A fire on the afternoon of Saturday, Nov. 21 forced a family of six out of their home on Summit Lake Road in Newton Township, according to family friend Laura Malone.
Kevin and Kate Sebring and their four children, Wyatt, Phoebe, Ben and Gordy are currently staying with family.
Malone explained that with American Red Cross assistance and the generosity of family and friends, the Sebring family now has enough food and clothing.
A relief fund was set up through Boy Scout Troop 160 to help the family with upcoming expenses.
Donations can be made to the Sebring Fire Relief Fund c/o Fidelity Deposit and Discount, 1311 Morgan Highway, Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
