‘Copperbeach,’ shown, is a design by Kristie Miller McMahon of Clarks Summit. McMahon will exhibit her handmade works on Dec. 9 at Nada & Company.

Kristie Miller McMahon of Clarks Summit will exhibit her handmade studio jewelry in a trunk show Dec. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Nada & Company, 132 Wyoming Ave., Scranton. The trunk show will be the first time McMahon and Nada & Company share an event. McMahon has been highlighting her work in the medium of precious metal clay. The concept is clay infused with fine silver particles, which can be shaped and carved before kiln firing to achieve a finished piece of fine silver jewelry. McMahon began creating her handmade glass and sterling silver jewelry after a class at Corning Glass Studios, Corning, N.Y., in 2000. McMahon’s work can be found at Lizza Studios, Tunkhannock, Wyoming County and at Barnstone Gallery, Phoenixville, Chester County.
