Palin to make first visit to Scranton on Tuesday

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be in Scranton on Tuesday, Oct. 14 for a rally, according to a Republican party official and an official campaign release received Saturday. The rally will take place at Riverfront Sports Complex, 5 West Olive Plaza, Scranton, the same location of an Obama rally featuring Sen. Joe Biden, President Bill Clinton and Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Doors to the Palin rally open at 11 a.m. It is unknown exactly what time Palin will address the crowd.

It's Palin's first visit to Northeastern Pennsylvania since being named as the Republican's vice-presidential candidate in August.
