CLARKS SUMMIT - In the past, consumers looking for the newest fashions and hottest styles might have traveled to big cities or searched the web, but Wendy and Frank Letoski are giving those shoppers another place to go in Clarks Summit.

Abington Journal Photos/Adam RobertsThe Vault, located at 611 S. State St., Clarks Summit, opened on June 7. The grand opening will be held soon.
The idea for the store came from Wendy’s desire to own and operate a boutique that featured brands that couldn’t be found in the area. Her background in sales and fundraising has given the couple a foundation for the store.
The Clarks Summit residents said that they are serving a hip and young consumer base. “We’re different because we are young and trendy and we have stuff you can’t find anywhere else,” said Frank.
The Vault features a list of brands for both men and women. For men, they carry collections like Affliction, English Laundry Shirts, Mavi Jeans, Ed Hardy and more. For women, The Vault also carries Ed Hardy, Sweeties, Kensie and Sinful among others.
On the accessory front, the Letoskis have brought in Washed-up Hollywood Belts, Gasoline Glamour Jewelry and other handbag and jewelry brands.
The clothing and accessories featured at The Vault will be continually rotating so the styles purchased there can remain unique to the area.
“We will keep getting different styles and brands,” Frank said, adding that he has been getting ten different Affliction shirts per week since the store opened.
The shirt prices range from $19 to $154 for shirts with full-jewel accents.
Aside from carrying the hard-to-find brands, the store itself offers a distinctive shopping experience.
Frank calls The Vault a “South Beach style store,” with house music and fresh flowers.
