Workshop to cope with grief Nov. 1

The holiday season can be one of the most difficult times for families who have experienced the death of a loved one. There are many ways to help cope with grief during this time.

On Sunday, Nov. 1, AseraCare Hospice, First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit, and Abington Community Library will sponsor a grief workshop to help prepare for the holidays. The event will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Ryon Room of the Library, located at 1200 W. Grove Street.

Presenter Dawn Jeziorski is a Licensed Social Worker and has been with AseraCare Hospice for eight years. Throughout her career, Jeziorski has been committed to guiding patients and their families through the hospice process of death and dying. Her passion for children has led Jeziorski to assist in many Grief Camps for children, utilizing her skills as a bereavement counselor in many creative ways.

Registration is suggested, but not required by calling the Abington Community Library at 570.587.3440.
