‘Kids Around The World,’ a multicultural children’s festival to benefit the Timmy’s Town Center, will take place Sept. 20 on the grounds of Scranton High School, 63 Mike Munchak Way, Scranton. In the event of inclement weather the event will be held in the cafeteria.

Representatives from throughout the area will provide educational activities, ethnic food, music, arts and crafts and much more to cultivate a deeper understanding of other cultures. Timmy’s Town Center, Inc., is a private, not-for-profit organization formed to create a children’s museum in honor of Timmy Kelly, who was 5 years old when he died of cancer.
