Accardi fled that evening prior to police arrival. Accardi was arrested on July 24, 2009, for the same offense and was on probation for that crime. Accardi was arraigned before magistrate Gibbons and bail was set at $10,000. The probation department placed a detainer on him for the probation violation. Accardi is now incarcerated in the Lackawanna County Jail.
