James M. Jordan

James M. Jordan, 47, Clarks Summit, died Tuesday, April 29, shortly arriving after admission to Mercy Hospital.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of Ann Maloney Jordan, with whom he resided, and the late James R. Jordan who died in 1978. He was a lifelong resident of the Clarks Summit area. He was the Manager of Denny’s Restaurant, where he had been employed for the past 18 years. He was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church. He was a 1979 graduate of Abington Heights High School and a 1981 graduate of Keystone College. He was always considering everyone else before himself, especially children.

Also surviving are a sister, Patricia Young, and her husband, Daniel, Pittston; two brothers, John Jordan and wife Lisa, Reno, Nevada and J. Tom Jordan and wife MaryBeth, Hillsboro, NJ; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and one great- nephew.

A Mass of Christian burial was to be held Friday, May 2, from Our lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit. Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery. Arrangements from the Lawrence E.
