Agnes E. Skrobak

Agnes E. Skrobak, 94, Benton Twp., died September 3 at the Mercy Hospital Hospice Unit. She was the widow of Michael Skrobak who died in 1988.

Born in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Rose Gliva Super. She was a resident of East Benton for over 60 years. Prior to retirement she was an Administrative Assistant for Our Lady of the Lords Hospital in Binghamton, NY. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church in Montdale.

Surviving are a daughter, Jane Anstey, Clarks Green; a son, Joseph M., East Benton; a sister, Victoria Skrobak, Bowling Green, KY; three grandchildren, Joseph Skrobak Jr., Debbie Anstey, and Michael Anstey; two great grandchildren, Stephanie and Dominic Skrobak.

She was preceded in death by brothers, John and Lawrence Super and a sister, Carolyn Fergurson.

A mass of Christian burial was to be held on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Corpus Christi Church in Montdale with services by Rev. Daniel Toomey. Entombment will be in Cathedral Cemetery.
