Betty Jane Novack

Betty Jane Novack, Clarks Summit, died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 13, at Allied Skilled Nursing after a courageous battle with cancer. Her husband of 21 years is Ronald W. Novack.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Betty Ord. Prior to retirement she was employed with Penn Security Bank in Scranton. She was a member the Church of the Good Shepherd in Scranton, a loving wife and a caring person to all. Betty enjoyed traveling and animals, especially her two horses she once raised.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m. with services by the Arch Deacon of the Dioceses of Bethlehem, Howard Stringfellow at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
