Donald Rosenkrans

Donald Rosenkrans, 68, Newton Twp., died Thursday, July 31, at the hospice unit of Mercy Hospital. His wife is the former Gennine Lilli; the couple was married for 46 years.

Born in Taylor, he was the son of the late Norvison and Augusta Burke Rosenkrans. He was a lifelong resident of Newton Twp. Prior to retirement he was a Psychiatric Aide for the Clarks Summit State Hospital for 35 years. He was a member of the Milwaukee United Methodist Church. He was everybody’s Santa Clause and enjoyed the haunted hay rides at his Mountain View Farm.

Surviving are a son, Thomas, Newton Twp.; daughters Donna Delprete and Lisa Kerrigan both of Newton Twp.; a brother, Herman, Ransom Twp.; grandchildren, Tre, Dominick, Phillip, Brianna, Donald Joseph and Daniel; nieces and nephews including Nick and Neil Malatesta and Margaret Vitcavage. He was preceded in death by a brother, Norvison, and sisters, Auguata and Betty Rosenkrans.

A Mass of Christian Burial was to be held from the Church of St. Benedict, Newton Ransom Blvd., Newton Twp. Interment will be in Newton Cemetery. Arrangements from the Lawrence E.
