Doris F. Brown, 92, resident of Golden Living care center, Tunkhannock, formerly of Clarks Summit, died Friday night at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock. Her husband was the late Wallace J. Brown, who died in 1994.
Born in Kenmore Ohio, daughter of the late Elmer and Alice Troutman Blank. Prior to retirement she was the secretary for the dean of students at Keystone College and the Area Director of Youth with understanding for exchange students for 10 years. She was a member of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church where she was a member of their couple’s class. She was a resident of Clarks Summit for over 50 years.
Surviving are two sons Al Welles Brown, Laceyville and Tim Brown, Alexandria, Virginia; a daughter Bonnie Brown, Mills, Mass.; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A grave side service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 11am from the Fairlawn Cemetery in Dalton.
