September 6, 2008

Eleanor Margaret Ross Burlingame, 75, of Chinchilla, died Saturday, Sept. 6, at home. She was the widow of Duane E. Burlingame, who died April 13, 1986.

She was civic-minded and was a volunteer with the Civil Air Patrol.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who idolized her four grandchildren; her gentle kind love of her family was known in the hearts of those who loved and knew her. She fought her courageous battle with cancer right until the end. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Herman Ross Jr.
