Eugene Hurst Franks

Eugene Hurst Franks, Clarks Summit, died Friday, Sept. 25, at his home. He was the widower of Delphia Winsett Franks who died in 1986.

Born in Detroit, Mich. on July 28, 1928, he was a resident of Clarks Summit since 1974, a veteran and prior to his retirement he was the owner of Walker Granite Co. in Chinchilla. He attended Our Lady of the Snows Church and had a love for animals.

Surviving are three daughters, Renee Lown, Md., Thoreen Burkhardt, Texas and India Bailey, Texas; seven grandchildren.
