Evelyn B. Dickinson, Dalton, died Sunday afternoon, Feb. 28, at the Moses Taylor Hospital. She was the widow of Robert E. Dickinson, who died in 2004.
Born in Mill City, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Bessie Johnson and step-daughter of the late Alice Johnson.
She was a member of the Countryside Community Church and a former member of the Schultzville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Connie Morse, RR, Dalton; a son, Harry R. Dickinson, Clarks Summit; a half-brother, Elmer Johnson; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Albert, Raymond and George Johnson and two sisters, Lillian Swartz and Florence Johnson.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 3, at 11 a.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by Dr. Rev. Jean-Pierre Duncan, pastor of the Countryside Community Church. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Glendale.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
