AJ Obituaries

Harold Solsman, Clarks Summit, died Friday evening, Nov. 13, at the hospice unit in Community Medical Center. His wife is the former Marjorie Masters. The couple married in 1963.

Born in Olyphant, he was the son of the late Floyd and Ethel Brugler Solsman. He was an electrician and in his retirement he worked at Moses Taylor Hospital garage. He was an Army veteran, an active member of the Clarks Summit United Methodist Church, Waverly Masonic Lodge F & AM 301 and the American Legion in Olyphant.

Surviving are three children: two daughters, Lauren Loftus, and her husband, Joseph, Dunmore; Rebecca Bonnevier and her husband, Ernest, Mountain Top and a son, Mark, and his wife, Kelley, Annapolis, Md. His grandchildren are Joseph II, Patrick and Meghan Loftus; Renald Petrauskas; Adam and Jessie Bonnevier and Jeremy and Rachel Solsman. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Muncie.

A funeral service was to be held Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. at Clarks Summit United Methodist Church . Interment will be in Jermyn Cemetery.
