Herbert Kishbaugh

Herbert Kishbaugh of Dalton died Friday morning, August 28, at Nanticoke Villa.

He was born in Justus, and was the son of the late George Kishbaugh Sr. and Beatrice O’Malley Kishbaugh.

He enjoyed working on cars. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially at family functions. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving are four sons, Laverne Kishbaugh and wife, Elizabeth, Dalton; Jerry Parry, Clarks Summit; Mike Kishbaugh, Dalton; Patrick Kishbaugh and wife, Leona, Scranton; and Randy Kishbaugh, Dalton; three daughters, Olga Snyder, Montrose; Terri Kishbaugh, Dalton; and Betty Webber and husband, Jim, Scranton; a companion, Lorettal Kishbaugh; one brother George Kishbaugh Jr. and wife, Beatrice, Horsehead, NY; and two sisters Betty Johnson, and husband, Edward, Towanda, NY; and Norma Smith, Buffalo, NY; 18 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by two sons, an infant and, Herbert Kishbaugh Jr., seven brothers, Harold, Albert, Jack, Billy, Richard, Donald and John, and two sisters, Dorothy Erickson and Joan Brand.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 11 a.m. from the Berean Church, 2754 Jackson St., Scranton, by the Rev. James Buchanan, pastor.

Friends may call Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of the service at the church.
