Irene Patricia Gale Dingee

Irene Patricia Gale Dingee, 66, of Dalton, died Sunday night, Nov. 1, at Community Medical Center in Scranton following an illness. Her husband is George Peter Dingee. The couple has been married for 46 years.

Dingee was born in Scranton, daughter of the late Edward and Bernice Wynn Gale. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was affectionately referred to as “GG” by her grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Also surviving are a daughter Joanne Evans, and husband, Mark; Falls, a sister, Bernice Long, and her husband, James, Green Ridge; a brother, Edward Gale, and wife, Angela, Scranton; two granddaughters, Brooke Evans, Scranton, and Rayne Evans, Falls; four great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gale, and a sister, Joan Robbins.

There will be no public calling hours or funeral service.
