Kenneth P. Smith, 76, Dalton, died Monday, July 7, at his home. He was the husband of the former Ann Costello; the couple was married 47 years last May 6.

Born in Clarks Summit, he was the son of the late Merrill and Gertrude Miner Smith. Prior to his retirement he worked for Scranton Corrugated Box in Scranton for 34 years. He was a member of St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Winola and life member of the Mill City Sportsmen’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and NASCAR Racing.

Also surviving are a son, Paul and his wife, Doreen, Dalton; a daughter, Debbie Rohland and her husband, Kenny, Scranton; two brothers, Paul and his wife, Emma, Lakeland, FL and Joseph, Tunkhannock; a sister Barbara, Dalton; two grandsons, Don and Cooper. He was preceded in death his son, Kenneth P. Smith Jr. in 1983.
