Lawrence R. Winters, Ransom Twp., died Monday, May 19, at the Moses Taylor Hospital. He was the widow of Doris Huggler Winters, who died in June of 1984.
Born in Ransom son of the late Harry and Nellie Fahs Winters, he was a lifelong resident of Ransom Twp, where he was a self- employed farmer as well as working as a paver for Wyoming Sand and Stone for over 20 years. He was a member of the Ransom United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Todd, and his wife, Pauline, Clarks Summit; two daughters, Karen Kresge, and her husband, Dale, York and Dorothy Richards, and her husband, Rex, Cherryville; a brother, Kenneth Winters, Ransom Twp.; a twin sister, Laura Pasternak, Ransom Twp.; nine grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was to be held with services by Rev. Debbie Dailey, pastor of the Ransom United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Milwaukee Cemetery. Arrangements from the Lawrence E.
