Leslie W. Shaw, 77, of Clarks Summit, died Thursday, Sept. 25, at Hospice Community Care in Dunmore. His wife is the former Beverly Walters. The couple would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary next October.

Born in Manchester New Hampshire, son of the late Thomas Lewis and Edna Mae Spencer Shaw, he was an Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He received a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Manchester and was employed as a computer programmer for the International Salt Co. for over 35 years. He was a member of the Salties Retirement Group. He was an active board member of the Boy Scouts.

Also surviving are two daughters Sandy Palazzo and husband Louis, Pine Hill, NJ, and Robin Lavelle and husband Patrick, Dalton; one son Walter L. and wife Mary Ann, Lewisberry and six grandchildren.
