Lucille Secor Llewellyn

Lucille Secor Llewellyn, 89, of Chinchilla, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the VNA Hospice Unit at Community Medical Center. She was the wife of William L. Llewellyn. The couple would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary Sept. 25.

Born April 28, 1920, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Dora Kullman Secor. She lived in Chinchilla for more than 60 years and was formerly of Scranton. She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and a member of Chinchilla United Methodist Church.

She and her husband enjoyed dance and were recently honored for their performances. A loving wife and caring mother, she enjoyed happy times with her family.

Also surviving are a daughter, Linda Van Fleet, and her husband, Barry, Dalton; three grandsons, Brian Heller, and his wife, Maryann, Harford; and Devin and Brook Van Fleet, both of Dalton; two granddaughters, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Karen Llewellyn Cotillis and infant Barbara Llewellyn.

Funeral services were to be held Sunday, March 7 at 2 p.m. in the Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit, with a blessing service by the Rev. Joseph M. Boles, a cousin. Interment will be private in Shady Lane Cemetery, South Abington Twp.
