Romuald ‘Roman’ Przyborowski

Romuald “Roman” Przyborowski, 82, Glenburn Twp., died Monday, Sept. 22, at the Abington Manor Nursing Facility. He was the widow of Helen E. Andreoski, who died in January of 2005.



Born in Skalat, Poland, he was the son of the late Vincent and Lucyna Dobrazanska Przyborowski. He was a resident of Glenburn Twp. Since 1979 and prior to retirement he was a Mechanical Engineer for the former Weston Co. which is now Lockheed Martin. He was a veteran of the Polish Army during World War II. He was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit and the Polish Army Veterans, a graduate of Drexel College and LaSalle University. He will be missed by all of his neighbors and especially the children who constantly visited his house. Giving out candy to all of the kids always made him smile. His sense of humor will be missed by all that knew him.

Surviving is a brother, Feliks, Konskie, Poland. A funeral Mass was to be held on Sunday in Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit. Interment will be in Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown. Arrangements from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lackawanna County Humane Society, 967 Griffen Pond Rd., Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
