Thomas Thomas, Clarks Summit, 97, died Monday, Feb. 22, at the Moses Taylor Hospital.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Robert B. and Catherine Powell Thomas. Prior to retirement, he worked for Scranton School District in the maintenance department. He was an Army veteran, serving in World War II. He was a member of Jackson Street Baptist Church, where he was a former usher and trustee.

Surviving is a sister, Catherine Thomas, with whom he resided; a nephew, Paul Thomas, Port Orange, Fla.; great nieces, Sharon and Sandra; and caregivers, Richard, Desiree, Danielle and Dawn Warnken.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Robert and Paul Thomas.

The funeral was to be held Feb. 25 . at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
