Victor O. Petersen

Victor O. Petersen, of Dalton, died Friday evening, Sept. 25, at Mercy Hospital in Scranton. His wife is the former Adele Baust. The couple had been married for 44 years.

A Factoryville native, and son of the late Victor O. and Vannie Lindsey, he had been self- employed in the upholstery business prior to his retirement. He was a World War II Army Air Corp Veteran, having served in the European Theater and Africa. He was the recipient of the American Service Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Service Metal, the Good Conduct Metal and the World War II Victory Metal. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Waverly.

Also surviving is a son Eric, Factoryville.

He was preceded in death by two sisters Janet Townsend and Norma Watkins.

Funeral service were held Tuesday at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit, . Interment Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly.
