AH junior wins NCTE award

Abington Heights High School student Rakel Joyce was one of 24 high school juniors in Pennsylvania to be recognized by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) and received an Achievement Award in writing. Abington Heights High School’s English department was permitted to nominate two students from the junior class to participate. Nearly 1,800 students participate in this contest nationwide.
