Keystone College unveils athletic Web site

The Keystone College athletic department announces the College’s new athletic Web site: www.gokcgiants.com. The face-lift for the new site began in September of this year and was designed by the College’s sports information office and Internet Consulting Services (ICS) of Syracuse, NY.

ICS has designed numerous athletic web sites for institutions on the Division I, II and III levels and is also the designer of the Colonial States Athletic Conference Web site, as well as many of its member’s athletic departments.

“This new Web site and what it offers our current students, as well as our potential students, is a tremendous asset to both the athletic department and the College,” stated Dr. Matthew Grimaldi, Keystone College Director of Athletics. “In today’s world it’s all about technology, this new site will give us a greater presence on the Web, as well as the capability to offer expanded options to parents, families, faculty and staff in keeping updated with our student-athletes and athletic programs. As we can continue to grow as both a department and a College, this site if further evidence of our administrations commitment to our student-athletes and Keystone athletics.”

By partnering with ICS on this project, the new Keystone athletics site will benefit from the use of SIDEARM technology. SIDEARM is a web-based content management solution that includes everything from press release and roster management, dynamic scoreboards, sponsorship recognition, interactive polls, SIDEARM STATS (live in-game statistics), streaming audio and video, photo gallery, online storefront, blogging, podcasting, SMS alerts, newsletter and recruiting components.

Keystone College currently offers 17 varsity intercollegiate sports and competes as a member of the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Founded in 1996, Internet Consulting Services, Inc. has spent the past 12 years providing clients with innovative technological solutions for their web needs. Since its founding, ICS has pioneered technologies in web design, content management systems, e-commerce solutions, and many other areas.
