High fashion for rent at Occasions

SCRANTON- “Why can’t women rent dresses for special occasions?” asked Lori Nidoh, owner of Occasions Dress Shop, which offers dress rentals. “You watch red carpet and they’re in these fabulous dresses and they don’t own them.”

Emmett named to All-Centennial Conference team

Junior defensive end Frank Emmett of Clarks Summit, now of the Muhlenberg College football team, was named to the All-Centennial Conference second team after helping the Mules to the CC championship. Emmett started all 11 games and was second on the team with 53 total tackles. He recorded 6� tackles for loss, including 2� sacks, intercepted one pass and broke up three others, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble.
